Caterpillar, Cummins, MAN and MTU main engines and generator sets — diagnosed, serviced, repaired and overhauled on board. Independent specialists, with no dealer obligations and no incentive to sell you an engine you do not need.
Superyacht Engine Service is an independent marine engineering company. We are not an authorised dealer, official service partner or representative of Caterpillar, PON Power, Cummins, MAN or MTU. All brand names and model designations on this website are used solely to describe the equipment we service, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. For factory warranty work or authorised-network service, contact the manufacturer's official dealer.
Independence is the point. We have no sales target attached to a brand, so a condition report says what the measurements say. Plenty of chief engineers and management companies use us alongside the dealer network on purpose: the dealer where warranty demands it, and an independent specialist for diagnosis, service, overhaul and rapid attendance everywhere else.

No. We are an independent marine engineering company and we state that clearly on every page. We are not affiliated with Caterpillar, PON Power, Cummins, MAN or MTU. For warranty and authorised-network service, use the manufacturer’s official dealer.
Work inside a factory warranty period should normally go through the official network to keep cover intact. Outside warranty, independent service is entirely normal, and our documentation is prepared to a standard that satisfies surveyors, insurers and prospective buyers.
Yes. We read and interpret engine management data and then verify it physically. A fault code identifies a complaining circuit; measurement identifies the cause.
Often, yes — particularly auxiliaries from Volvo Penta, Scania, Deutz, Yanmar and Mitsubishi. Send the details and we will give you a straight answer rather than learning on your engine.
That is a large part of what we do. Being independent means we have no reason to confirm or contradict anyone — we measure and report what we find.
Send the details below and you will hear back from an engineer, not a call centre. For a vessel that is stranded or on a tight departure slot, call +31 6 20743967 or message us on WhatsApp.
Model, serial and running hours are enough for a straight answer on whether we are the right people for the job.
